While growing up, thanks to my dad’s military career, I lived in Massachusetts, Maryland, Texas, and Florida. In 1986, I moved to Oregon and fell in love with Oregon’s natural beauty and unique lifestyle. Since moving to Oregon, I have lived in Eugene, Springfield, and the Coos Bay area of the south coast.
I am an alumnus of the University of Oregon where I studied Art Education. Later, I also received a degree in Energy Management from the Northwest Energy Education Institute. As part of my energy management education, I learned about: residential construction, building materials, how to read blueprints, HVAC systems, weatherization, and home environmental health. I also took a class on Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED);“ a system devised by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) to encourage market transformation towards sustainable design.” In addition, I have worked with my husband Andrew’s Tool and Die Company as a full-charge bookkeeper.
It is the culmination of the skills and knowledge I learned in these previous fields, my childhood passion for floor plans and design, as well as my desire to help others that has led me into a career in real estate. I especially enjoy getting to know what is of most importance to my clients, and I derive great satisfaction from assisting them to achieve their real estate goals. I am available to assist in the buying or selling of residential real estate. I am grateful to be affiliated with United Real Estate Properties. It is a company that represents exceptional service, knowledge, and professionalism.
